I am currently an assistant head with responsibility for performance management of staff; a Y6 teacher; and a literacy co-ordinator with a real passion for the teaching of Literacy. As Literacy co-ordinator, I coach and mentor staff through team teaching, training and supporting. From my role as an LA moderator of KS2 writing for the last 3 years, my subject knowledge and approachability has led to me being asked to deliver staff training in other schools. Keeping abreast of developments in education is important as I regularly train staff on writing, reading and grammar.
